What People's Say About Place

Best sundubu in the area! The house-made tofu is the star here—silky, fresh, and flavorful. The perilla seed and mushroom soup is a standout. While the LA Galbi was tasty, it was a little tough, and the pancake felt a bit overpriced for the size. However, the "grandma-style" hospitality and the convenience of paying with InKind make this a top-tier local spot. Stick to the tofu dishes and you can’t go wrong!

They made tofu in house so the tofu stew was spot on with great flavor and the tofu was silken soft. The dumplings were just ok but the scallions pancake was tasty.

Food is so comforting and the staff is wonderfully kind. Bossom and House made Tofu combo with kimchi salad is my favorite. Their banchan is always rotating and delicous!

Happy to be able to walk in and get seating on a Saturday night. Food was overall good. The place makes their own tofu and I loved the one that comes with their basic appetizers. The service was a bit lacking. We had a bit of back and forth with the staff on small things that I feel like detracted from our experience.

This is an authentic Korean restaurant and the food served feels like it was cooked by your mother. I started with the leek pancake which is so fresh and full of shrimp. The tofu is all made in the house and is absolutely delicious. My friends raved about the spicy tofu soup and the delicious ribs. This place is a hidden gem not to be missed.

Update: I’m taking off one star. The latest time we went, they didn’t give us small dishes before the main dishes were served. They explained because customers get full on small dishes too soon. Well that’s our business. We can always take our food home. And there were very few small appetizers compared to other places. Update: nice takeout packaging with assortment of appetizers Food tasted really good. Only the service was lackluster. The young lady at the counter just wasn’t nice. She gave me a weird look when I ordered two combos for 3 of us (one was my 90-year-old grandma). She blocked the narrow passageway to the bathroom without moving so I had to squeeze through. And there was no thank you as she scooped up the tips. A bit strange for a family restaurant. Also, definitely order the combo of soup and meat. The galbi by itself was a lot pricier with only a few pieces more. (I had the comparison because we also ordered just the meat to go afterwards.)

I’m coming here for its handmade tofu but honestly that was the most disappointing dish we ordered. The tofu was very dense and firm, can’t really tell the difference between the three flavors. The other dishes are surprisingly good, especially love the bossam!

Really really good sundubu - they even have a white broth mushroom version that I found really comforting and perfect for a cold winter day. The set menus are a great deal - you get the full size tofu soup plus a sizzling bibimbap (the rice at the bottom gets wonderfully crunchy if you wait a bit before stirring). The vegetable one I got wasn't super flavorful, but I'm sure the meat ones are. There's sides (kimchi, fish tofu, marinated tofu, and thin pickles) and barley tea. Extra rice is an extra $2. I also liked the shrimp pancakes - very tender and tasty shrimp. They unfortunately didn't have the tri-colored tofu when I went - I'd love to try that too.
